Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a leading industrial supply and distribution organisation who, due to continued growth, are seeking a commercially driven individual to oversee and manage a key on-site account based in Luton.

This is a unique opportunity to operate as a standalone on-site manager, embedded within a major manufacturing environment. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will manage purchasing, supply and stock control of industrial products while building strong working relationships with procurement and engineering teams.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing position combining operational responsibility with commercial awareness.

In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive package including a base salary of £43,000 per annum, a £6,000 car allowance or company car (VW, BMW, Audi or Mercedes options available), quarterly bonus scheme (typically £6,000 per annum), and 24 days holiday.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated on-site lead for a key manufacturing client
• Manage purchasing and supply of industrial products in line with customer requirements
• Maintain and replenish on-site stock and inventory systems, including storage cabinets
• Work closely with procurement and operational teams to support production priorities
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and commercial performance

Skills & Experience

• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or industrial supply environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage spend and identify efficiencies
• Able to work independently in a standalone site-based role
• Comfortable working in a factory environment with lots of walking
• Background in B2B sales, procurement, supply chain or trade counter advantageous
