Due to ever increasing success and rapid growth, our client are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The role will be based at their facility near Melton Mowbray.

The hourly rate for this role is up to c£19 per hour, working 4 days on and 4 days off with 12-hour shift patterns. Other benefits life insurance, competitive holiday allowance plus much more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on site equipment to minimise downtime
• Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and maintenance systems
• Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety regulations and company standards
• Support the maintenance team with ad-hoc repairs and continuous improvement activities across the site

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full apprenticeship or City & Guilds in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 17^th or 18^th Edition qualified strongly desirable
• Previous experience in an FMCG environment strongly desirable
• Excellent Health & Safety awareness and knowledge of other legislation
• Ability to work unsupervised from engineering drawings and machine assembly diagrams
