Due to continued growth within their Service Charge department, our client is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to support their client portfolio collections, on a hybrid working basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience in debt recovery or credit control to manage their own caseload and play a key role in progressing service charge and ground rent arrears matters. The successful candidate will be resilient, client-focused and confident managing targets within a fast-paced environment.

In return, the successful candidate will join a collaborative, performance-driven team within a supportive and values-led organisation. The role involves working in the Nottingham-based office 3 days a week, with a salary of c£26,000 plus a quarterly bonus equating to c£6k per annum, alongside additional benefits.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload relating to arrears within the client portfolio
• Progress debt recovery matters through the case management system, ensuring daily task completion targets are met
• Correspond with clients and third parties, providing recommendations and tailored written communications
• Negotiate with debtors and other professionals to secure settlements
• Escalate complex matters where appropriate and contribute towards achieving individual and team financial targets

Skills & Experience

• Experience within a debt recovery or credit control environment
• Demonstrable experience managing your own caseload using a case management system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Target-driven, resilient and highly organised
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
