Are you a skilled Dynamics 365 Power BI Consultant looking for your next contract? We’re seeking a specialist to design, build, and deliver insightful reporting solutions that drive performance across contact centre operations on behalf of our public sector client.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Power BI reporting solutions aligned to contact centre operations
• Build dashboards and reports covering cases, queues, SLAs, agent performance, and call data
• Extract, transform, and model data from Dynamics 365 / Dataverse for analytics
• Define and implement KPIs and reporting frameworks for service operations
• Optimise data models and report performance
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and governance best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights

Skills & Experience

• Strong Power BI development skills including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling (star schema)
• Experience reporting from Dynamics 365 / Dataverse (tables, relationships, option sets, including custom tables)
• Proven delivery of reporting within Customer Service / Contact Centre environments
• Experience with data extraction and refresh patterns (Dataverse connector, TDS, Synapse Link, or Fabric)
• Strong understanding of performance optimisation across models and measures
• Experience implementing RLS, governance, and reporting best practices
• Ability to translate operational requirements into clear KPIs and dashboards
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with people from all backgrounds
• Knowledge of contact centre metrics (e.g. FCR, AHT, backlog/aging)
• Broader Power Platform experience (Power Apps / Power Automate)
• Familiarity with ALM / DevOps for Power BI (pipelines, version control, environment promotion)
• Experience with Fabric, Synapse, or Data Lake analytics for scalable reporting

Vacancy Summary

Hours:Monday-Friday, Full Time

Salary: c£367.11 per day D.O.E

Location: Lincoln City Centre, Hybrid, required to be in the office on Wednesday and Thursday weekly

Job Type: Temporary for approx. 6 months
