Due to ever increasing success and growth, our client is seeking a talented Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join their growing maintenance team at their state-of-the-art facility in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive starting salary of up to c£50,000, including x3 life assurance, enhanced overtime pay, increasing holidays up to 33 days with length of service (including bank holidays), shift swapping flexibility and more.

The contracted hours are 11-hour shifts, working Sunday to Wednesday, whilst working across a 3-week rotating shift pattern, which is as follows:

Week 1: 6:00am to 5:00pm

Week 2: 8:00am to 7:00pm

Week 3: 11am to 10:00pm

Roles & Responsibilities

Carry out regular planned maintenance checks on essential equipment, including chillers, industrial refrigerators, water coolers and industrial ovens

Ensure all electrical/mechanical fixes are completed in a timely and safe manner

Perform reactive maintenance on industrial conveyors & packaging machines to ensure smooth running of the production line

Carry out plant checks and readings on essential equipment

Work with a wide range of high and low voltage electrical equipment

Maintaining electrical facilities equipment, including lighting systems, alarms, shutters, distribution boards and air conditioning systems etc.

Working independently from technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams

Skills & Experience

NVQ Level 3/HNC in Electrical Engineering

Previous experience in a fast paced, food manufacturing/production environment

PLC fault finding experience desirable (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi)

Maintenance and fault-finding experience with 3-phase motors, LV switches, sensors and control panels

Experience working in a FMCG environment essential

Ability to interpret engineering schematics and production diagrams independently
