Our client is seeking skilled Maintenance Controllers to join their team. The role involves managing service schedules, coordinating work with suppliers, monitoring job progress, and ensuring all vehicles meet compliance and quality standards. The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and IT skills.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, handling unplanned events, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the maintenance process. Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and manage service schedules to ensure all vehicles meet legal and regulatory standards
• Schedule and coordinate tasks with suppliers to maintain efficient operations and high-quality service delivery
• Monitor job progress, update systems, and maintain clear records of all activities
• Review inspections and service documentation to confirm vehicles comply with required standards
• Handle unplanned breakdowns, workflows for estimates and authorisations, and keep stakeholders informed throughout

Skills & Experience

• Fleet experience in HGV or vans advantageous
• Demonstrated experience in fast-paced, customer-focused environments
• Enjoy the challenge of actioning fast repair resolutions
• Work collaboratively within a team while managing tasks independently with minimal supervision
• Organisational and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manage data effectively
• Knowledge of HGV advantageous
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance advantageous
