Express Recruitment are hiring an Electrical Bias Maintenance Technician on behalf of an industrial materials supplier on a full time permanent basis. You will be tasked with servicing plant equipment, responding to breakdowns, repairing extrusion and injection mould machinery and carrying out electrical and mechanical work as and when required.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, hold an HNC or HND level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and be confident working independently as well as within a team.

In return, they are offering up to c£40,405 per annum D.O.E and a generous benefits package including 33 days holiday, sick pay scheme, paid overtime at enhanced rates and genuine career progression opportunities.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain PPM equipment to agreed schedules
• Be first response to breakdowns on site
• Perform fault finding and repairs on machinery including extrusion lines, moulding machines and automated cells
• Carry out improvement modifications on equipment
• Contribute toward continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives * Complete general electrical and mechanical works as and when required
• Log daily maintenance activities via the CMMS system ready for handover

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable maintenance experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• HND or HNC Level qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience performing fault finding and repairs on PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is highly desirable
• Experience with extrusion or injection moulding machines is highly desirable
• Confident working individually and in a team
• 18th Edition and IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications are highly desirable
