Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a leading not-for-profit healthcare provider who, due to an ambitious programme of continuous improvement, are seeking to appoint a CQC Lead on a part time basis.

The successful candidate will ensure will strengthen the existing quality governance team and ensure the organisation remain inspection-ready at all times.

Please note, this role is a part-time position working 3 days per week, working office hours with a hybrid pattern split between home working, the organisation’s Nottingham head office, and occasional site visits to local hospitals.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead on regulatory compliance, ensuring the organisation is always inspection-ready
  • Monitor and oversee actions from CQC inspections and external audits
  • Produce clear action plans and progress reports for the Executive Team and Board
  • Maintain accurate records including risk logs, quality improvement plans, and registration details
  • Coordinate responses to CQC enquiries and manage communication across services
  • Deliver training sessions to improve staff awareness of CQC requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of quality governance and regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience managing projects and producing detailed reports
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and relevant IT systems
  • Flexible and proactive, with a genuine interest in improving patient care
