Due to continued growth, are client is seeking the addition of a highly experienced Quality Inspector to join their production team.

In return, the successful candidate will receive a highly competitive salary of up to £35,000. Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspection FAIR reports from suppliers
• Assist Quality Manager with performing internal audits in adherence to ISO:9001 standards
• Operate a wide variety of measuring equipment to inspect precision components, including verniers, calipers and micrometres
• Maintain documentation within the quality management system
• Inspect parts by interpreting technical drawings and machine build sheets
• Report non-conforming parts to Quality Manager
• Inspect bespoke fabricated parts and weldments, utilising a variety of inspection techniques
• Report repeat quality issues to suppliers
• Support projects to implement continuous improvement and 5s methods

Skills & Qualifications

• ISO:9001 Internal Auditor qualified advantageous
• Experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experienced in using measuring equipment and calibration methods to inspect mechanical and electrical components
• Well versed with 5S principles and other continuous improvement methodologies
• Confident dealing with suppliers and resolving material quality issues
• Exposed to a range of fabrication and welding inspection techniques
• Ability to read and follow instructions from technical drawings without supervision
• Experienced working in a KPI driven environment
