In return for your hard work, they’re offering a fantastic salary of up to c£75,000 per annum and discretionary annual bonus (typically a month’s salary), alongside excellent benefits including a car allowance, hybrid working, generous holiday allowance, private medical insurance and life assurance.

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Lead the negotiation, appointment, and full lifecycle oversight of sub-contractor packages—from initial engagement through to final account settlement
• Act as the primary commercial contact for clients, handling valuations, variations, and ensuring financial transparency across all schemes
• Produce accurate monthly cost reports aligned with project budgets, proactively identifying and addressing any cost-related issues
• Foster strong working relationships with Contracts Managers and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery and high-quality outcomes
• Support junior staff by mentoring, monitoring progress, and guiding their development within project environments
• Uphold company policies and procedures under the Integrated Management System (IMS), while remaining adaptable to undertake additional duties as required

Skills & Experience 

• Extensive experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with strong tendering and estimating skills
• Strong background within building, construction or similar industries
• Previous contract management and/or negotiation experience
• Working knowledge of construction contracts
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to liaise with key clients
• Team leadership or management experience preferred but not essential
• Willingness to be on-site and travel where required with a full UK driving licence
