Due to continued growth our client is looking to recruit a Solar Electrician to join their team. This offers the opportunity for a proven electrician to take the next step in their career with entry into a rapidly growing sector.

In return for your skills our client offers a competitive salary of up to c£45,000 DOE alongside a range of benefits including an attractive pension scheme, a company bonus scheme and room to progress and learn new skills.

Please note that although a bulk of projects will be Midlands based some occasional working away will be required to meet the demands of nationwide customers. In these instances you will be fully reimbursed for food, travel and accommodation expenses.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install and maintain solar systems and pump installations
• Service ground-mounted and roof-mounted systems
• Arrange resources and equipment to complete electrical repairs
• Install and maintain EV chargers
• Travel to customer sites for installations
• Carry out post-sale handovers to clients
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and wire panel layouts

Skills & Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or equivalent is essential
• IPAF or equivalent
• 18th Edition qualified is essential
• Previous solar panel installation and commissioning experience
• Health and Safety qualifications are advantageous
• Ability to inspect, test and certify for all electrical installations
• Experience of EV installations is highly desirable
• Full clean UK driving licence
