Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a global construction and facilities leader, who are currently looking for two Asset Tagging Surveyors to support a major project at a government site based local to Wittering, Peterborough. The role will involve labelling and logging Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) components across the site, and the wider project gives scope for two individuals to potentially manage up to 8,000 assets.

This would suit someone with a background in either engineering or technical facilities management (such as an ex-gas engineer, heating systems contractor, or similar).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Accurately label Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) assets including boilers, pumps, heating systems and more with unique identification tags
• Capture information about the asset (such as type, make, model, serial number, location, and condition)
• Use bespoke devices where required such as handheld scanners and internal IT databases
• Report: Flag any missing, duplicate, or unidentifiable assets to the project lead.
• Work alongside Head of Technical Services to provide updates on the project, covering a wide range of mechanical and electrical plant/systems

Skills & Experience

• Accurate labelling skills, previous demonstratable experience beneficial
• Experience in engineering (knowledge of boilers, pumps, heating systems, etc. desirable)
• Comfortable working on MOD/SC required sites (existing security clearance beneficial)
• Ability to work methodically and maintain accurate records
• Knowledge of asset registers and tagging processes essential
