Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a reputable GP Surgery, with modern offices based local to Wollaton. Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Temporary Receptionist to provide a comprehensive support service to members of the public.

The role will be working across 30 hours, three days per week (Wednesday-Friday), 8:00am-6:30pm however there may be the possibility of flexibility with this for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will need to have an Enhanced DBS Check which is dated in the past 12 months, alongside a Smart Card which is either in date, or be willing to have this updated if required.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients into the surgery
• Handle a high volume of incoming telephone calls
• Book appointments for patients, both urgent and routine
• Assist with the delivery of prescriptions after patient appointments
• Respond to general telephone and email enquiries
• Use MS Office to update sensitive patient data

Skills & Experience

• Professional and polite telephone manner
• Experience of using MS Office or GP databases
• Previous medical or public sector administration experience essential
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Able to work within sensitive environments and understand Data Protection
