Express Recruitment have a rare and unique opportunity for an experienced people manager to lead a team of individuals and join a global business in the Leicester area with free parking provided.

Our client is looking for a candidate who can demonstrate excellent people and communication skills. They are looking for someone who wants to join their new customer service team focusing on developing the culture within the team and putting kindness ahead of data!

In return our client is offering a salary of up to c£43,000, hybrid working options (1 day per week at home) plus many more benefits.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the Customer Service Team ensuring high standards of performance, engagement and service delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to support satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Compile and review regular reports to monitor performance, identify trends and support strategic decision-making
  • Work collaboratively across departments to identify and implement improvements that enhance the customer experience and increase efficiency
  • Provide support to senior management and collaborate with other team leaders on operational and strategic activities
  • Identify training needs within the team and coordinate with training partners to deliver suitable development programmes

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Team Leader or Manager
  • Ability to demonstrate high level communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • This role would suit someone who is already working in a Team Leader or management role, whether that is a Customer Service or Sales Team Leader, and wants to be part of an exciting new project.
