Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a growing, family-run food business as they search for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the team on the catering side of the business.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef or Kitchen Manager with looking to move into a role with great benefits and sociable working hours.

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Plan and prepare food ready for the week’s catering events  
• Ensure the daily setup and close down checklists are completed  
• Ensure quality standards are maintained at all times in line with relevant food hygiene standards  
• Perform stock control and oversee stock orders to ensure efficiency and minimise wastage  
• Draft rotas for the small kitchen team  

Skills & Experience 

• Previous experience managing a kitchen essential  
• Previous catering experience preferred but not essential  
• Strong organisational skills  
• Knowledgeable around food hygiene standards  
• IT literate and able to use relevant computer systems
