Express Recruitment are recruiting for Groundsman and Maintenance Operative to join our client who are a leading Property Management firm in the East Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and broad maintenance experience to play a vital role in ensuring sites remain safe, functional and presentable.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance including minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Keep buildings and grounds tidy and well-maintained
• Conduct general site repairs and preventative maintenance
• Undertake painting, decorating, and minor refurbishments
• Liaise with contractors and assist during defect periods
• Perform routine safety checks

Skills & Experience

• Practical skills in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, and garden maintenance
• Experience in equipment inspection and upkeep
• Knowledge of compliance and health and safety requirements
• Proficient with hand/power tools
• Strong communication skills
