Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a leading FE supplier with the recruitment of a specialist Engineering Assessor. The ideal candidate will have extensive Engineering knowledge and will be well-versed in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering.

For this role, no two days will be the same! Sometimes, you’ll find yourself planning a range of teaching projects alongside the Managing Director, and other days, you’ll be working closely with apprentices to provide specialist advice and guidance, gained from your extensive Engineering knowledge.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and deliver lessons to a group of apprentice students
• Deliver engineering training to a range of apprentices
• Attend meetings with the Managing Director to plan efficient ways of learning
• Act as the first point of contact for any student concerns
• Design and develop resources to ensure students receive the best learning experience

Skills & Experience

• Relevant Engineering qualification
• Preferably hold a Certificate in Education/PGCE or be prepared to work towards this
• Previous experience of liaising with stakeholders and CEO’s
• Personable and approachable attitude
• Ability to work to and meet timescale deadlines
