Express Recruitment are working alongside one of Nottingham’s leading industrial fabricators who are on the lookout for an experienced Press Brake Setter Operator to join their workshop team during a sustained period of growth.

The successful candidate will be contracted to either permanent afternoon (2pm-10pm) or double day shifts, consisting of one week working 6am-2pm and the following week working 2pm-10pm. Shifts rota will reset on a fortnightly basis.

The successful candidate will receive up to £16 per hour plus a weekly shift allowance. In addition, overtime is available at enhanced rates (time and a half for hours exceeding 40 hours per week).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up and adjust Bystronic press brakes in line with production plans and schedules
• Measure and align all material batches
• Inspect finished products ensuring they are compliant with quality standards and specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on press brakes
• Operate laser cutting machines and adjust tooling
• Maintain high health and safety standards around the workshop

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating Bystronic press brake machines
• Understanding of the difference between types of tooling
• Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics
• Previous experience working from both online/offline programs
• NVQ or equivalent in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline
