Express Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with well respect education institute. Due to a temporary peak in their workload, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team and support with 3 large projects.

This is a hybrid working opportunity with one day per week required in their Derby-based office. This role is looking to start as soon as possible therefore candidates need to be immediately available or have a short notice period.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide project management skills across 3 projects within the workstream
• Create, progress and monitor the project plans, facilitating governance
• Report monthly on progress and manage the benefits
• Maintain close communication with stakeholders to define expected project outcomes and objectives, and to manage multiple project aspects and expectations including budget, time, risk and quality constraints
• General management and leadership of the project team, defining project structure and setting appropriate methodologies in place

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar Senior PM position essential, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects
• PRINCE2, PMQ, and Agile related qualifications all beneficial
• Good communicational and interpersonal skills with experience managing stakeholder expectations and relations
• Previous experience working within education beneficial
