Express Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a leading Local Authority who are looking for a Facilities Support Assistant to join their thriving facilities management team on-site on a temporary basis to support their daily duties.

Within this role, you will be responsible for the day to day support on-site, acting as a designated key holder to maintain site security. You will also be required to report any potential security breaches to the site management team, maintaining the premises to a high standard, and auditing to provide both positive and negative feedback on standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as a designated key holder, open and lock the site to maintain security
• Report potential security breaches to the site management team
• Develop and implement service and local procedures to maintain building operations
• Monitor and ensure works identified via risk assessments are carried out in a timely manner
• Audit premises and provide both positive and negative feedback regarding standards and performance

Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of health and safety legislation in relation to facilities management
• Ability to prioritise a demanding workload to a challenging timetable
• Able to contribute to the planning, managing and profiling of budgets
• Capable of provide clear and concise reporting in relation to premises matters
