Express Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-respected local authority, specifically to support their Facilities & Maintenance sector. Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliable Team leader with previous leadership, trades and inspections experience.

The successful candidate will be able to manage a range of trades operative to support small projects in Sheffield, conduct site meetings and inspections, manage stakeholders and provide exceptional customer service. This is initially a temporary role to cover long-term sickness, with the potential to go permanent. This role allows for a hybrid working arrangement.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage a team of operatives from a variety of trades
• Manage the daily functions of the team, and support small projects throughout Sheffield
• Conduct site meetings and inspections with a high level of attention to detail
• Provide exceptional customer service at all levels
• Provide stakeholder management throughout the projects

Skills & Experience

• Previous management experience essential
• Previous trade experience essential
• Experience of conducting Health & Safety inspections
• Previous contract management experience desired
• Full UK driving licence essential
