Express Recruitment are currently looking for multiple Cloud Engineers based throughout the East Midlands.   

We are currently recruiting on behalf of multiple clients, who due to on-going growth, are seeking additional Cloud support and expertise. If you have experience supporting a multitude of cloud-based IT projects, and are comfortable taking ownership of future projects, then please get in touch for more information. 

You can expect to receive a starting salary ranging between £45,000 to £60,000, plus additional employee benefits. Each role offers the ability to take ownership of technical projects, from initial requirement gathering and planning, through to implementation and post-support. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work across a variety of cloud-based IT projects, including Azure, AWS, Telephony, Security & Networks 
• Perform complex troubleshooting in virtualisation platforms such as Azure, VMWare, and Hyper-V 
• Resolve issues and handling escalations around migrations projects of on premise to cloud  
• Implement load balancing, caching, and content delivery solutions to ensure high performance and availability  
• Provide subject matter expertise around cloud system upgrades, IT security reviews and processes  
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture and Research and Innovation Teams to develop designs, architectures, standards, and methodologies for the successful delivery and improvement of large-scale, customer focused SaaS platforms. 
• Identify current IT trends that can generate new business and create new company values. 

Skills & Experience

• A degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) desirable, along with any further IT-related certifications 
• Proven experience working with cloud-based infrastructure platforms (Azure/AWS) 
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of MS domain infrastructure (Active Directory, MS Exchange) 
• Previous experience in delivering migration and software upgrade projects desirable 
• Possess the ability to communicate professionally with external stakeholders on all levels  
• Display capabilities in working to tight project deadlines  
• Hold relevant senior service desk or IT support work experience
