Express Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable regional law firm during an exciting chapter in their growth, as they look to introduce a Business Development role into the business.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in a previous sales or business development role, ideally within a professional services setting and will be confident in bringing their own ideas to the table.

Alongside an excellent starting salary, there is also a fantastic company bonus scheme on offer and the freedom to really make the role your own as a completely new position to the team.

The role is working up to 21 hours a week, with flexibility across the days these are worked, paying up to £45,000 pro rata, depending on experience.

Role & Responsibilities

• Liaise with marketing team to develop business development strategy
• Attend networking events to promote brand awareness
• Attend client meetings to generate new business and build on existing opportunities
• Respond to inbound enquiries and proactively develop new business, through outbound emails and calls
• Perform market analysis to grow sales pipeline

Skills & Experience

• Proven track record in previous business development role
• Previous experience working within professional services, ideally a law firm
• Confident communicator with stakeholders on all levels
• Creative thinker whose able to bring their own ideas to the table
• Valid UK driving licence
