Due to continued success and major expansion plans, our client is seeking to recruit a highly competent Environmental and Quality Advisor to assist the Line Manager with a series of improvement and compliance centred projects across their regional East Midlands sites.  

Due to the multi-site nature of this role, a full clean driving licence and transport is essential.  

In return for your skills, our client will offer a competitive salary of up to £28,000 alongside a range of benefits to include flexible working around childcare, free on-site parking, internal training opportunities, 21 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support with environmental training/toolbox talks 
• Support sales with new waste streams, including liaison with labs 
• Carry out audits against ISO standards, EMS & site permits 
• Creating monthly KPI reports and sharing findings with Line Manager  
• Advise/support operations when incorrect or obscure loads are received, ensuring correct procedures are followed 
• Travel to other East Midlands sites when required  

Skills & Qualifications

• Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Any environmental, waste or chemicals background highly desirable  
• Strong communicator with internal and external stakeholders 
• Ability to adapt to an ever changing, fast paced environment 
• Full UK driving licence essential
