We are pleased to be working with a leading, well-established company who support a wide range of customers on a number of diverse infrastructure projects. Due to growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Draughtsperson to join their expanding team.  

The successful candidate will be experienced in producing general arrangement and 3D drawings, producing information packs to enable the successful manufacture and installation of projects. Experience within the steel industry is advantageous, though candidates who have worked in relevant sectors will be considered.    

Roles & Responsibilities

• Modelling structures from engineer’s designs and general arrangement drawings
• Adding connections as detailed in the Engineers calculations
• Materials scheduling for procurement, including the preparation of prelim and bolt lists
• Generating drawings and exporting to other formats
• Creating CNC data for production

Skills & Experience

• Fully competent in the use of either Tekla, Stucad or Xsteel software packages 
• Experience in a similar role
• Ability to liaise both with internal and external stakeholder
• Excellent time management skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
