Express Recruitment is delighted to be working alongside a leader food supplier who due to continued growth, is looking to recruit an FMCG Technical Process Lead to manage their Process Technology and NPD department.  

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Overtime is required on occasions during peak periods, which can be used as time in lieu.  

In return for your skills, our client is offering a competitive salary of up to c£38,000.  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading and managing effective delivery of all products from start to end 
• Manage a team of two people, coordinating daily workloads and driving performance 
• Take ownership of NPD projects and ensure all QA compliance and regulatory standards are adhered to  
• Ensure SKUs are created for full product traceability    
• Outline clear processes and procedures to ensure successful product launches 
• Drive process improvements and developments across existing product range  
• Liasing with customers and clients are building relationships 
• Identify and lead on site process improvement plans whilst adopting various LEAN and Continuous Improvement methodologies  
• Attend other sites to consult with Process Leaders on collaborative process improvement projects  

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in FMCG or similar fast paced environment  
• Demonstrable experience in leading and inspiring an intimate team   
• HACCP certificate holder highly desirable  
• Formal qualified in Food Science or similar subject advantageous but not essential  
• Full UK Driving Licence
