Express Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading logistics group who have ambitious growth plans over the coming years. They are looking to recruit a Project Management Officer to play a key role in delivery of key transformation activity.

The role will involve proactively preparing the business for the impact of changes being delivered by a significant programme of work, ensuring appropriate change and benefit management activities are planned and completed. The successful candidate will have experience in a similar project/programme capacity, ideally from working in the transport sector.

The role is hybrid, with travel to offices in Peterborough, Doncaster and London. There is an excellent benefits package on offer including a basic salary of up to £65k, private healthcare, an electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme and a thriving social culture.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Applying a structured methodology and leading change management activities, maintaining focus on realising the beneficial change
  • Assessing the change impact by conducting impact analysis, assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders
  • Supporting training efforts, providing input, document requirements and supporting the design and delivery of training programs
  • Identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the programme
  • Designing the future operating model ‘to-be’ state and ensuring that it is contained and maintained within the programme blueprint
  • Identifying and managing other business opportunities and risks associated with the transformation project
  • Ensuring that business stability is maintained during the transition and that the changes are effectively integrated into the business

Skills & Experience

  • A proven track record of delivering successful change programmes
  • Experience working in a change management/transformation environment
  • Experience developing benefits management strategies and frameworks to support projects and programmes in evaluating outcomes
  • Background the transport sector advantageous
  • Ability to plan and monitor business change activities and realisation
  • Full UK Driving Licence
