German Speaking Customer Service Advisor

Overview

Express Recruitment are currently recruiting for an established and highly successful international fashion and outdoor lifestyle brand based in Nottingham, who are looking to expand their busy customer service team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global business offering excellent career progression, training and development. The successful candidate will be fluent in both German and English, with the opportunity to utilise any additional European language skills within the role.

Our client is offering a hybrid working model of just 1 day per week in the office, a salary of up to £28,500 DOE, 24 days' holiday rising to 30 days, your birthday off and a generous staff purchase scheme.

Skills & Experience
  • Fluent written and verbal German and English essential, with additional European languages highly advantageous
  • Previous customer service experience preferred, with a professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Customer-focused, proactive and solution-oriented, with a genuine passion for delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure, meet deadlines and manage a busy workload
  • Flexible, collaborative and positive team player with a willingness to learn and develop
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Manage the full customer order lifecycle, from order receipt through to delivery, invoicing and aftercare
  • Handle customer enquiries across email, telephone, chat and social media, resolving qeries relating to availability, delivery, pricing, billing and claims
  • Provide accurate product and technical information while maintaining a high standard of customer service
  • Share customer feedback with internal teams and support wider team operations during busy periods and colleague absences
  • Provide German language and regional support, with opportunities to utilise any additional European language skills
  • Represent the brand professionally at all times, ensuring all customer communication reflects company standards and values
